Lodha Developers has allotted 25,000 secured, rated, listed, senior, redeemable, taxable non-convertible debentures of face value 1 lakh rupees each, totalling 250 crore rupees, on a private placement basis. The 3-year NCDs carry a coupon of 7.90 percent per annum, payable quarterly, linked to the 3-month T-bill rate (currently 5.45 percent) plus a 2.45 percent spread. First ranking charge is created over certain assets. They will be listed on the BSE wholesale debt market segment and mature on November 13, 2028.
Adds 250 crore of floating-rate debt, raising interest cost, but diversifies funding sources and signals strong investor confidence in credit quality.
