Lykis Ltd reported FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 26,289.31 lakhs (slight decline from Rs 26,372.60 lakhs), while consolidated revenue grew 32% to Rs 39,274.60 lakhs from Rs 29,736.78 lakhs, driven by subsidiary performance. Standalone PAT jumped 151% to Rs 371.74 lakhs from Rs 147.90 lakhs, and consolidated PAT rose 148% to Rs 647.50 lakhs from Rs 261.02 lakhs. EPS improved to Rs 1.92 (standalone) and Rs 3.34 (consolidated). However, operating cash flows turned sharply negative at Rs 1,256.89 lakhs (standalone) and Rs 3,216.57 lakhs (consolidated), compared to positive flows in FY25. Borrowings more than doubled to Rs 7,515.84 lakhs (standalone) and Rs 10,505.65 lakhs (consolidated). Exceptional items included provision reversals of Rs 131.58 lakhs (standalone) and Rs 77.54 lakhs (consolidated). The company completed disposal of its associate companies (Lykis Biscuits and Lykis Packaging) during the year. Auditors issued unmodified (clean) opinions.
Strong PAT growth and revenue expansion at consolidated level are positives, but the sharp turnaround to negative operating cash flows and doubling of debt levels are significant red flags for investors. The company needs to address cash flow generation despite improved profitability.
