Lykis Limited reported audited FY25 results showing a sharp revenue decline. Standalone revenue from operations fell to Rs 26,372.60 lakh from Rs 37,129.78 lakh last year (down ~29%), though standalone profit after tax jumped to Rs 147.90 lakh from Rs 68.20 lakh. Consolidated revenue declined to Rs 29,736.78 lakh from Rs 40,433.74 lakh, with consolidated profit falling to Rs 261.02 lakh from Rs 388.18 lakh. The company booked an exceptional item of Rs 131.58 lakh (standalone) / Rs 77.54 lakh (consolidated) for impairment of investments in associate companies (Lykis Biscuits and Lykis Packaging), whose disinvestment has received in-principle board approval. The board also appointed KTPS & Co as internal auditor and Ms. Komal Birmiwala as secretarial auditor for a 5-year term.
The steep revenue drop is a concern for shareholders, though cost reductions and finance cost improvements have lifted standalone bottom line. Borrowings nearly halved (Rs 8,382 lakh to Rs 3,059 lakh standalone), improving balance sheet strength. The associate divestment could unlock cash but also signals weakening performance in those units.
