Lykis Limited reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs 6,325.96 lakhs for Q3 FY26, broadly flat versus Rs 6,275.49 lakhs in Q3 FY25, but standalone revenue for the 9-month period dropped about 20% to Rs 17,084.87 lakhs from Rs 21,346.14 lakhs a year ago. Standalone net profit for Q3 jumped to Rs 194.43 lakhs from just Rs 1.86 lakhs last year, with EPS of Rs 1.00. On a consolidated basis, Q3 revenue grew about 14% to Rs 9,061.28 lakhs and 9-month PAT rose roughly 37% to Rs 452.11 lakhs (EPS Rs 2.33). The Promoter has signed a Share Purchase Agreement to sell 67.17% stake to Parshav Vatika LLP, triggering an open offer, and the company has also sold its trademark (classified as held-for-sale) and disposed of investments in associate companies, recording exceptional gains from reversal of provisions.
Sharp standalone 9M revenue decline is a concern despite profit growth, while the 67% promoter stake sale and trademark disposal signal a major change in business direction and likely open-offer activity. Shareholders should watch for the takeover offer price and any strategic shift at the new promoter-led entity.
