MSL Global Limited (formerly Madhusudan Securities) reported near-zero revenue of Rs. 0.10 lakhs for Q2 FY26, sharply lower than Rs. 1.19 lakhs in Q2 FY25, as the company continues to earn minimal income from securities trading. Standalone net loss for the quarter was Rs. 5.59 lakhs against a profit of Rs. 4.49 lakhs in the year-ago quarter; on a half-year basis, standalone net loss was Rs. 15.04 lakhs versus a profit of Rs. 42.22 lakhs in H1 FY25. On a consolidated basis, net loss widened to Rs. 24.82 lakhs for Q2 and Rs. 49.16 lakhs for H1, partly due to a Rs. 34.12 lakh share of losses from its newly acquired associate, Compliance Kart Private Limited (in which it holds over 51%). The auditor (S.V. Bhat & Co.) issued an unqualified limited review report. Cash from operations was negative at Rs. -8.66 lakhs, though overall cash position improved to Rs. 538.86 lakhs from Rs. 134.39 lakhs, supported by Rs. 805.50 lakhs raised through equity share and warrant issues.
The company has shifted from profit to loss, with negligible operating revenue and an accumulating consolidated loss driven by the new associate's drag. However, the balance sheet remains debt-free with strong reserves (Rs. 9,275 lakhs shareholders' funds) and rising cash, so near-term solvency risk is limited — shareholders should monitor whether revenue generation picks up and how the Compliance Kart acquisition performs.
