Magadh Sugar reported total income of ₹12,487.83 crore for FY26, down from ₹13,251.07 crore in FY25. Profit after tax declined significantly to ₹635.08 crore from ₹1,094.46 crore in the previous year—a fall of about 42%. The company declared a dividend of ₹12.50 per share (125%). Results were audited by BSR & Co. LLP with an unmodified opinion. Exceptional items of ₹73.03 lakh were recognised due to new labour codes implementation. Net cash from operations was ₹1,484.12 crore. Segment-wise, sugar revenue fell to ₹10,910.52 crore from ₹16,611.61 crore, while distillery revenue remained stable at ₹2,979.20 crore.
The sharp drop in profitability despite stable cash flows is a concern. Revenue decline and the significant PAT fall signal operational challenges, likely due to sugar segment headwinds. However, the clean audit opinion and dividend declaration offer some support to investors.
