Magadh Sugar's Q2 FY27 income was Rs 290 crore, down 10.8%, while EBITDA rose 650% to Rs 15 crore as sugar realisation increased 13%. PAT swung to Rs 1 crore from a Rs 10 crore loss. H1 income fell 8.6% to Rs 602 crore, EBITDA declined 22.7% to Rs 17 crore, and PAT was a Rs 11 crore loss. Lower sugar and ethanol sales hurt revenue. The company targets refinery completion before the 2026-27 sugar season and an incineration boiler by November 2026.
Quarterly profit recovery and better sugar realisations are positive, but lower volumes, H1 losses and ethanol policy shifts cloud the earnings outlook.
