Magnanimous Trade & Finance reported a loss of Rs. 1.65 lakhs in Q3 FY26 (quarter ended Dec 31, 2025), swinging from a profit of Rs. 33.38 lakhs in the previous quarter (Q2 FY26). Quarterly EPS turned negative at Rs. -0.14. For the nine months ended Dec 2025, total revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs. 172.59 lakhs versus Rs. 926.40 lakhs in the same period last year, and profit after tax dropped to Rs. 65.94 lakhs from Rs. 652.48 lakhs. The big YoY gap is largely because the company had booked a one-off large sale of about Rs. 877 lakhs in the year-ago quarter. The statutory auditor (KPCM & Co.) issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications.
The steep YoY decline looks alarming on paper but is mostly driven by the absence of last year's one-off bulk sale rather than an ongoing business slowdown. Still, the swing into a quarterly loss and the much thinner nine-month profits are signs of weaker current-quarter performance that shareholders should watch closely.
