Magnum Ventures Ltd reported FY26 revenue of Rs. 46,496.64 lakhs, up 17.5% from Rs. 39,575.06 lakhs in FY25. However, the company swung to a net loss of Rs. 1,137.39 lakhs compared to profit of Rs. 949.58 lakhs in FY25. Q4 standalone PAT was Rs. 532.49 lakhs. The Paper segment reported a loss of Rs. 396.21 lakhs for FY26 versus profit of Rs. 942.94 lakhs in FY25, while the Hotel segment showed improved profit of Rs. 2,769.82 lakhs. The auditors issued an unmodified opinion but highlighted several emphasis of matter items including unreconciled debtors/creditors, Rs. 300 lakhs deposit with Bank of Baroda for legal cases, SEBI penalty of Rs. 12 lakhs on company (Rs. 54 lakhs on directors/KMPs) pending appeal at SAT, and trade receivables of Rs. 6,051.20 lakhs with Rs. 333.30 lakhs outstanding over 6 months. The company has also availed a Rs. 15,000 lakh term loan from TFCI to repay NCDs and approved issuance of Rs. 50 crore NCDs to NEO Special Credit Opportunities Fund.
The company swung to a full-year loss due to Paper segment losses and high finance costs of Rs. 3,968.19 lakhs. Multiple auditor emphasis items including pending SEBI litigation and unreconciled balances create governance concerns. The planned demerger of Paper Business and new NCD issuance indicate ongoing restructuring.
