Mahalaxmi Seamless Limited reported audited FY25 and Q4 FY25 results along with an unmodified auditor's opinion from M/s Agrawal Jain & Gupta. Full-year revenue fell to Rs. 108.30 lacs from Rs. 184.48 lacs in FY24, a decline of roughly 41%. The company returned to a profit of Rs. 25.48 lacs in FY25, compared with a loss of Rs. 124.36 lacs in FY24, largely because the prior year carried a one-time exceptional charge of Rs. 157.20 lacs that did not repeat. Q4 FY25 revenue was Rs. 45.16 lacs with a quarterly profit of Rs. 7.12 lacs. Operating cash flow turned positive at Rs. 37.41 lacs versus a negative Rs. 61.49 lacs in FY24. The board also appointed M/s Neelakshee R. Marathe & Co. as secretarial auditor for FY25.
The return to profit is encouraging but is driven mainly by the absence of last year's exceptional loss rather than a recovery in the core business. The sharp revenue decline and persistent negative other equity of Rs. -575.02 lacs signal continued operational weakness, which shareholders should weigh despite the headline turnaround.
