Mahamaya Lifesciences (BSE SME, Scrip Code: 544611), an agro-crop protection company, reported its H1 FY26 (April–September 2025) results. Standalone revenue from operations rose to ₹16,306.37 lakhs from ₹14,623.12 lakhs in H1 FY25, an increase of about 11.5%. Profit after tax grew to ₹852.56 lakhs (₹725.25 lakhs earlier), with EPS at ₹4.80 versus ₹4.48. Consolidated PAT stood at ₹836.88 lakhs. Auditor N Naresh & Co. issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications. However, operating cash flow was sharply negative at ₹(689.75) lakhs standalone and ₹(681.75) lakhs consolidated, compared to ₹(175.36) lakhs in H1 FY25, driven mainly by a large build-up in inventory and trade receivables. Short-term borrowings also climbed to ₹6,370.73 lakhs from ₹4,186.70 lakhs.
Topline and profit growth are steady and earnings are clean, but the widening negative operating cash flow and rising short-term debt signal working-capital stress that investors should monitor closely.
