Mahamaya Steel Industries, a Raipur-based steel manufacturer, reported Q1 FY26 standalone revenue from operations of ₹207.05 crore, down about 1.9% year-on-year from ₹211.03 crore in Q1 FY25. Total income came in at ₹207.12 crore versus ₹211.06 crore. Net profit, however, more than doubled to ₹1.66 crore from ₹0.77 crore, supported by lower raw material consumption costs, slightly lower finance costs, and an exceptional income of ₹63.42 lakhs. Consolidated net profit was ₹1.74 crore (vs ₹0.87 crore), with EPS rising to ₹1.06 from ₹0.53. The statutory auditor, KPRK & Associates LLP, issued an unqualified limited review report on both the standalone and consolidated results.
Strong bottom-line growth on the back of cost savings and a one-time exceptional item, but the slight revenue decline and dependence on exceptional income suggest the underlying operating recovery is modest. Investors should watch for sustained revenue revival in coming quarters.
