MHRIL reported Q2 FY26 standalone revenue of 35,430 lakhs (up 3% YoY) and consolidated revenue of 78,413 lakhs (up 9.3% YoY). Standalone Q2 PAT of 4,326 lakhs was down 16% YoY, but consolidated Q2 PAT rose 16% to 1,972 lakhs. H1 consolidated PAT fell 54% to 1,116 lakhs due to a 1,106 lakh exceptional charge for new Labour Codes retirement benefits and heavy losses at Finland unit HCRO. Auditor BSR flagged the ongoing NFRA review of segment reporting and revenue recognition but gave an unmodified opinion. No auditor change.
Mixed quarter: topline grew but consolidated H1 profit nearly halved on exceptional Labour Codes charge and overseas losses. Watch HCRO Finland turnaround.
