Mahindra Lifespace Developers has submitted its audited standalone and consolidated financial statements for the year ended 31st March 2025. Standalone revenue from operations jumped sharply to Rs. 349.32 crore, up from just Rs. 18.69 crore in the previous year, driven by real estate project deliveries. The company swung back to a profit of Rs. 51.35 crore, compared to a loss of Rs. 38.82 crore in FY24, marking a clear turnaround. Other income also rose to Rs. 283.27 crore from Rs. 104.74 crore a year earlier. Auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unqualified (clean) opinion, with the carrying value of real estate inventories of Rs. 3,794.93 crore flagged as the only key audit matter.
The clean audit opinion and the return to profitability are positive signals for shareholders, though real estate revenue can be lumpy and project-completion dependent, so sustainability of the rebound will depend on continued project handovers. The earnings turnaround, if consistent, could support investor sentiment and a re-rating of the stock.
