Majestic Auto Limited announced audited FY25 results showing a standalone net loss of Rs. 3.36 crore against a profit of Rs. 23.25 crore last year. Standalone revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs. 24.44 crore from Rs. 48.23 crore, a roughly 49% year-on-year decline, dragged down by realised and unrealised losses on investments due to market volatility. On a consolidated basis, revenue declined about 23% to Rs. 64.31 crore, and net profit attributable to equity shareholders fell around 79% to Rs. 6.81 crore. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 5 per share, taking the total FY25 dividend to Rs. 10 per share (100%), with the record date fixed at August 1, 2025. Statutory auditors M/s Hari S. & Associates issued unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated results. The board also approved the appointment of M/s Neeta A & Associates as Secretarial Auditors for five years, re-appointment of Ms. Ayushi Jain as Director, shifting of the registered office within Delhi, and reviewed its Related Party Transactions policy.
The steep drop in standalone profitability, now in the red due to investment losses, is negative for shareholders despite the unchanged 100% total dividend payout. Weak operating performance may weigh on sentiment, though the healthy cash position supports the dividend.
