On the reaction day the stock moved 3.1 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 3.6 pts less than its Paper & Paper Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Malu Paper Mills Q3 FY26: net sales up 22.6% YoY at Rs 7,677.71 lacs; 9M up 23% to Rs 22,782.57 lacs. However, losses widened: Q3 net loss Rs 509.78 lacs (vs Rs 367.34 lacs); 9M loss Rs 1,684.06 lacs (vs Rs 931.31 lacs). EBITDA loss Rs 309.20 lacs vs Rs 105.18 lacs. Management cited tough markets and price competition, but pointed to a Maharashtra textbook paper win, plans to monetise surplus land, and promoter capital support.
Revenue growing but losses deepening is a red flag. Promoter support and land sale may help, but stock likely weak until profits return.
