Manappuram Finance reported audited consolidated results for FY2026 with total income of Rs. 9,524.68 crores and net profit of Rs. 1,665.64 crores, compared to Rs. 8,571.52 crores and Rs. 1,353.42 crores respectively in FY2025. Standalone PBT grew 12.5% to Rs. 2,163.41 crores. The Board declared interim dividend of Rs. 0.50 per share (record date May 11, 2026). Key notes include: subsidiary Asirvad Micro Finance failed to comply with NNPA and quarterly profitability covenants as of March 2025; technical write-off of Rs. 136.94 crores on Vehicle Finance portfolio with net impact of Rs. 84.01 crores after provisions; qualified borrowings increased from Rs. 14,275 crores to Rs. 24,579 crores during FY26. BC Asia Investments invested Rs. 2,192.47 crore for 9.89% stake and Rs. 548.11 crore via share warrants.
The company delivered solid profit growth with unmodified audit opinions, though the large technical write-off and subsidiary covenant breach warrant monitoring. The substantial increase in qualified borrowings and Asirvad's losses are concerns for credit quality.
