Manappuram Finance reported standalone net profit of Rs 1,524.65 crore for FY2026, up 28.8% from Rs 1,183.26 crore in the prior year. Standalone revenue grew 10.4% to Rs 10,614.20 crore. However, consolidated profit declined to Rs 1,109.09 crore from Rs 1,201.51 crore, with consolidated revenue falling to Rs 9,524.68 crore from Rs 10,031.15 crore, largely due to a loss of Rs 519.53 crore at subsidiary Asirvad Micro Finance. The company declared interim dividend of Rs 0.50 per share (25% on face value Rs 2). A technical write-off of Rs 136.94 crore was taken on Vehicle Finance portfolio. The company raised Rs 2,732.58 crore from BC Asia Investments through equity and warrants. Auditors issued unmodified (clean) opinions on both standalone and consolidated results.
The standalone business shows strong 28.8% profit growth, but the consolidated picture is weaker due to subsidiary losses. The clean audit opinion and dividend declaration are positives, but investors should monitor the Asirvad Micro Finance turnaround given its Rs 519 crore loss and covenant non-compliance.
