Mangalam Seeds Limited reported Q1 FY27 (quarter ended 30 June 2026) standalone revenue from operations of ₹5,865.27 lakhs, up about 25% from ₹4,689.22 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Standalone profit after tax rose modestly to ₹408.33 lakhs (from ₹381.09 lakhs), with basic EPS of ₹3.72 versus ₹3.47. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations was ₹6,183.57 lakhs (~26% YoY growth) and PAT was ₹396.80 lakhs, broadly flat year-on-year. The Board also accepted the resignation of statutory auditor M/s M A A K & Associates (effective 13 August 2026) and recommended appointing M/s Ashish Sheth & Associates to fill the casual vacancy, subject to shareholder approval. The Real Estate operating segment has been dropped as it no longer meets Ind AS 108 reporting thresholds.
Strong top-line growth (~25% YoY) is the key positive, but margin compression (EBITDA margin fell from ~12% to ~10% on standalone) and largely flat PAT suggest cost pressures. The mid-term auditor change, while officially described as routine, is worth watching for any underlying governance signals.
