For the six months, consolidated revenue rose 22.6% to Rs 7,267.51 crore, but net profit fell 19.6% to Rs 964.80 crore. Q2 revenue was Rs 3,697.16 crore, up 20.8%, while net profit fell 21.3% to Rs 520.18 crore. Standalone operating margin dropped to 27% from 30%. Auditors highlighted tax cases involving disputed adjustments of about Rs 1,825.66 crore. Earlier figures were restated for three merged subsidiaries.
Revenue growth helps, but falling profit and unresolved tax cases may pressure the stock and raise volatility.
