Maple Infrastructure Trust has completed a preferential allotment of 12.06 crore units at ₹145.6 per unit, raising approximately ₹1,756 crore in total. The allotment was approved by the Board of the Investment Manager on November 20, 2025, following unitholder approval on November 12, 2025. The sponsor, Maple Highways Pte. Ltd., contributed the bulk of the issue with 9.05 crore units (~₹1,317 crore), accounting for about 75% of the total. The remaining ~₹439 crore was subscribed by 19 non-sponsor investors, including 360 One's AIF schemes, Balkrishna Industries, Pharmed, I G Petrochemicals, and several domestic body corporates and LLPs. The newly allotted units will rank equally with existing units for distributions and voting, and will be subject to the lock-in requirements under SEBI InvIT Regulations before listing on BSE.
This large capital raise of ~₹1,756 crore will expand the trust's capital base but may dilute existing unitholders' holdings. Strong sponsor participation (75% of the issue) signals continued confidence in the trust, though the locked-in units will restrict immediate supply post-listing.
