Maple Infrastructure Trust has informed the Exchange regarding Issue of units through Preferential issue on 20/11/2025
Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
Maple Infrastructure Trust has allotted 12.06 crore units at ₹145.6 each on a preferential basis, raising about ₹1,756 crore in total. The allotment was approved by the Board on November 20, 2025, after unitholder approval on November 12, 2025. The sponsor, Maple Highways Pte. Ltd., picked up 9.05 crore units (around ₹1,317 crore), accounting for about 75% of the issue. The remaining units were taken by 360 One's alternative investment funds and several domestic body corporates including Balkrishna Industries, I G Petrochemicals, and Pharmed. The newly issued units will rank equally with existing units for distributions and voting, but will be locked-in as per SEBI InvIT regulations before listing on BSE.
This is a large capital raise that strengthens the InvIT's balance sheet, with the sponsor showing strong commitment by contributing the bulk of the funds. Existing unitholders may see near-term dilution from the ~12 crore new units, but the proceeds should support growth or debt reduction — investors should watch for the stated use of funds in coming filings.
