Maral Overseas Limited reported a turnaround with FY2025-26 net profit of ₹326.14 lakh against a loss of ₹2,419.77 lakh in the prior year. Revenue declined 6.3% to ₹98,087 lakh from ₹1,04,703 lakh. The company appointed BGJC & Associates LLP for Sarovar Division and Agarwal & Saxena, LLP for Garment Division as Internal Auditors for FY2026-27. The Board also approved acquisition of 26% stake in Asawata Energy Private Limited (a newly incorporated SPV under Pickrenew Energy) for ₹2.60 lakh to set up a 15 MW solar power plant under the Group Captive model. The Garment segment showed improvement, narrowing losses to ₹24 lakh from ₹1,887 lakh previously. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion.
The company returned to profitability after two consecutive years of losses, a positive sign for shareholders. The solar investment signals a strategic push to reduce energy costs. Revenue decline remains a concern but is offset by strong margin recovery.
