Maruti Suzuki Q1 FY27 standalone results: revenue from operations rose around 36% YoY to Rs 524,551 million, aided by the amalgamation of subsidiary Suzuki Motor Gujarat (effective December 2025). However, profit after tax fell about 11% to Rs 33,521 million from Rs 37,581 million. PBT margin compressed to roughly 8.3% from 12.7% YoY as total expenses jumped to Rs 499,881 million. Auditors Price Waterhouse issued an unmodified limited review report but flagged EPR (end-of-life vehicle) obligations and the amalgamation as emphasis of matter.
Strong top-line growth from merger but margin pressure persists; investors may weigh volume gains against cost headwinds in coming quarters.
