Mawana Sugars reported audited standalone FY2026 revenue of Rs 1,564.16 crore, up 8.2% from Rs 1,445.09 crore in FY2025. However, standalone PAT declined sharply to Rs 36.72 crore from Rs 71.40 crore in the prior year, a drop of about 49%. Consolidated PAT similarly fell to Rs 36.65 crore from Rs 109.42 crore. The Q4 FY26 standalone PAT was Rs 62.98 crore versus Rs 61.81 crore in Q4 FY25. The company reported exceptional items including Rs 9.43 crore reversal of labour code provisions. Segment-wise, sugar contributed Rs 1,631.94 crore in revenue, power Rs 252.89 crore, and distillery Rs 218.57 crore. The Board deferred dividend consideration. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
The stock may face pressure as revenue growth of 8.2% did not translate to profitability, with PAT declining nearly 49% year-on-year. The dividend deferral also removes near-term catalysts for investor returns.
