Mawana Sugars reported FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 1,564.16 crore, up 8.2% from Rs 1,445.09 crore in FY25. However, profitability declined sharply - standalone PBT fell 46% to Rs 49.32 crore and PAT dropped 48.6% to Rs 36.72 crore versus Rs 71.40 crore last year. Q4 standalone PAT was Rs 62.98 crore on revenue of Rs 372.74 crore. The company recorded an exceptional item reversal of Rs 9.43 crore due to labour code provision write-back. Revenue from operations grew to Rs 1,570.94 crore on consolidated basis, but PAT declined to Rs 36.65 crore from Rs 109.42 crore. The Board deferred dividend consideration and approved the 62nd AGM for July 4, 2026.
The stock may face pressure as PAT nearly halved year-on-year despite modest revenue growth, indicating margin compression. The dividend deferral could disappoint income-seeking investors. However, clean audit opinion and property acquisition progress are neutral-to-positive factors.
