Mawana Sugars posted a standalone net loss of Rs 23.21 crore for Q1 FY27 (ended June 30, 2026), wider than Rs 13.66 crore loss in Q1 FY26. Revenue rose modestly to Rs 414.10 crore from Rs 399.07 crore. Total expenses climbed to Rs 445.62 crore. Sugar segment posted a loss of Rs 17.38 crore and power segment lost Rs 4.56 crore, while distillery earned Rs 4.37 crore. Board also approved revised MD remuneration, re-appointment of an independent director, and a 40 percent final dividend (Rs 4 per share) for FY26.
Widening losses and rising costs may pressure the stock despite modest revenue growth and the declared dividend for FY26.
