Max Financial Services reported Q2 FY26 consolidated PAT of Rs 5.91 crores, sharply lower than Rs 139.65 crores in Q2 FY25, pulled down by tax adjustments for earlier periods. H1 FY26 PAT was Rs 92.89 crores versus Rs 296.50 crores a year ago. Revenue from operations fell to Rs 12,821 crores in Q2 and Rs 22,613 crores in H1, down from Rs 13,372 crores and Rs 25,170 crores respectively. Auditor S.R. Batliboi flagged an emphasis of matter on a SEBI show cause notice to the company and subsidiary Axis Max Life Insurance over past share transactions. Axis Max Life raised Rs 800 crores via NCDs in September 2025.
Sharp PAT fall, revenue dip and SEBI regulatory overhang may pressure the stock despite stable insurance business and NCD raise.
