On the reaction day the stock moved 1.7 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.5 pts less than its Holding Company peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Consolidated Q2 revenue rose to Rs 45.16 cr from Rs 42.77 cr a year ago; H1 revenue Rs 81.83 cr vs Rs 69.23 cr. However, consolidated loss widened sharply to Rs 60.34 cr in H1 from Rs 21.60 cr. Standalone Q2 posted a marginal profit of Rs 0.03 cr against a loss earlier. Company raised Rs 124 cr via rights issue and allotted convertible warrants worth Rs 80 cr. Auditor flagged a going concern doubt at UK subsidiary Max UK and an emphasis of matter on joint venture CBPL's Noida project disputes. Exceptional gain of Rs 9.53 cr booked from sale of three office floors to related party Max Towers.
Wider consolidated loss and UK going concern flag may weigh on stock, but over Rs 200 cr raised via rights issue and warrants strengthens balance sheet.
