Megastar Foods reported strong Q1 FY26 results, with standalone revenue from operations nearly doubling to ₹10,733.58 lakhs from ₹5,692.18 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a growth of about 88%. Standalone profit after tax jumped to ₹157.87 lakhs from ₹46.97 lakhs, a rise of roughly 236% year-on-year, pushing EPS to ₹1.40 from ₹0.47. On a consolidated basis (including wholly-owned subsidiary Megapacific Ventures), revenue was ₹10,733.58 lakhs and PAT was ₹161.55 lakhs, up from ₹43.22 lakhs a year ago. The company operates in a single segment (wheat products) and reported no exceptional or extraordinary items. Statutory auditors Nitin Mahajan & Associates issued an unqualified limited review report on both sets of results. The board also announced the 14th AGM on September 24, 2025, with book closure from September 10 to September 16.
Strong topline growth and sharp PAT expansion suggest improving scale and operating leverage, which is positive for shareholders. However, finance costs surged tenfold to ₹558.37 lakhs, indicating higher borrowing, so investors should watch debt levels and interest coverage even though the debt-equity ratio improved to 0.68x.
