Meghmani Organics posted strong Q1 FY26 results with standalone revenue from operations rising to Rs. 59,269.77 lakhs, up about 44% from Rs. 41,111.47 lakhs a year ago. Standalone net profit jumped to Rs. 4,050.65 lakhs (EPS Rs. 1.59) compared to a loss of Rs. 627.75 lakhs in Q1 FY25. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew nearly 48% to Rs. 61,362.39 lakhs and net profit stood at Rs. 1,268.34 lakhs versus a loss of Rs. 1,675.83 lakhs last year. The growth was driven mainly by the agrochemicals segment, whose standalone revenue surged about 68% YoY to Rs. 45,790.64 lakhs, while the pigments segment remained broadly flat. The statutory auditor (Mukesh M. Shah & Co) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications, and the company reported no defaults on loans or debt securities.
Positive for shareholders: a sharp revenue rebound and a return to profitability after year-ago losses, led by the agrochemicals business, signal improving operating leverage. Investors should watch whether the agrochemicals momentum sustains, as consolidated PAT growth lagged standalone due to higher finance and depreciation costs.
