Menon Bearings announced audited Q4 FY25 and full-year results for the period ended March 31, 2025, along with the re-appointment of its Internal Auditor and Cost Auditor. On a standalone basis, FY25 net sales fell to Rs 16,536 lakhs from Rs 20,625 lakhs in FY24, with PAT dropping to Rs 2,016 lakhs from Rs 2,569 lakhs and EPS at Rs 3.60 vs Rs 4.58. However, on a consolidated basis, total income grew to Rs 24,378 lakhs from Rs 21,442 lakhs and PAT rose to Rs 2,493 lakhs from Rs 2,436 lakhs (EPS Rs 4.45 vs Rs 4.35). The standalone decline is explained by the restructuring of Menon Alkop (formerly a division) into a wholly-owned subsidiary, so its numbers are now reflected only in consolidated results. The board paid an interim dividend of Rs 2 per share (200%) during the year. Statutory auditor M/s ARNA & Associates issued an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Like-for-like (consolidated) performance is healthy with modest revenue and profit growth and an unchanged dividend payout, but headline standalone numbers show a sharp decline that may look negative to investors who don't read the structural change note. The unmodified audit opinion is a positive signal, supporting confidence in reported numbers.
