The Board of Metal Coatings (India) approved the un-audited financial results for the quarter ended 31 December 2025 and nine months of FY26. Revenue from operations stood at Rs. 3,821.86 lakhs for Q3 FY26, slightly lower than Rs. 3,901.65 lakhs in Q3 FY25. For nine months FY26, revenue declined to Rs. 11,223.03 lakhs from Rs. 11,946.69 lakhs in the same period last year, a drop of about 6%. Despite the revenue dip, the company swung back to profitability with a net profit of Rs. 95.93 lakhs in Q3 FY26 compared to a loss of Rs. 52.78 lakhs in Q3 FY25. Nine-month net profit more than doubled to Rs. 226.70 lakhs versus Rs. 103.90 lakhs last year, aided by sharply lower finance costs. Mehra Goel & Co. issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
Margin improvement and turnaround in profitability are positive signals for shareholders, even though top-line revenue continues to contract. The sharp reduction in finance costs was a key driver of the bottom-line recovery, so sustaining this trend will be important for the stock's outlook.
