Midwest Energy Limited, formerly Midwest Gold, filed FY26 annual report. Standalone revenue jumped to Rs 3,199.21 lakhs from Rs 376.07 lakhs with PAT of Rs 279.59 lakhs versus a loss of Rs 304.27 lakhs. Consolidated revenue rose to Rs 1,053.23 lakhs but consolidated loss widened to Rs 1,400.69 lakhs from Rs 684.57 lakhs. Name changed after amalgamation with Midwest Energy Private Limited. Company raised funds via preferential share allotments priced Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000 per share.
Standalone turnaround is positive, but widening consolidated losses and equity dilution from preferential issues are concerns for shareholders.
