Q1 FY27 revenue rose 33.2 percent to Rs 1,846 crore. EBITDA grew 35.4 percent to Rs 212 crore; margin was 11.5 percent, up 19 basis points. PAT rose 216 percent to Rs 206 crore, including a Rs 106 crore exceptional gain from Minda VAST consolidation. A lifetime order book of about Rs 2,500 crore was added. Commodity, wage and freight costs pressured margins, partly offset by efficiency. FY27 capex is planned near Rs 400 crore, with margin expected at 11.5 to 12 percent for the rest of the year.
Strong growth, a large order book and slight margin improvement support the outlook, but cost pressure and exceptional gains temper the positive read.
