Mitsu Chem Plast reported Q2 FY26 revenue from operations of ₹92.42 crores, up about 13.8% year-on-year from ₹81.22 crores. For the half year (H1 FY26), revenue rose roughly 10.1% to ₹177.70 crores versus ₹161.35 crores in H1 FY25. Profit after tax (PAT) grew much faster, jumping about 65.7% YoY in Q2 to ₹1.88 crores (from ₹1.14 crores) and 43.6% YoY for H1 to ₹3.20 crores. Basic EPS for the quarter was ₹1.39 versus ₹0.84 a year ago. Statutory auditor Gokhale & Sathe issued an unqualified limited review opinion, and operating cash flow for H1 remained healthy at ₹12.95 crores. The company makes injection and blow-molded plastic products for industrial containers, healthcare furniture, and automotive components.
Sharp PAT growth well ahead of revenue growth, helped by lower finance costs and steady margins, is a positive for shareholders and could support a constructive stock reaction. Topline growth is moderate but earnings quality is improving with positive operating cash flow and no debt concerns.
