Mitsu Chem Plast reported Q3 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs 8,599.58 lakhs, up about 6.9% year-on-year from Rs 8,045.51 lakhs, though down sequentially from Rs 9,242.05 lakhs in Q2 FY26. Profit after tax jumped sharply to Rs 470.63 lakhs versus Rs 148.49 lakhs in Q3 FY25, a rise of over 200%, lifting EPS to Rs 3.47 from Rs 1.09. For the nine months ended December 2025, revenue grew to Rs 26,369.49 lakhs (from Rs 24,180.71 lakhs) and PAT more than doubled to Rs 790.13 lakhs (from Rs 370.91 lakhs). The company disclosed a small Rs 12.33 lakhs exceptional charge related to the new Labour Codes (gratuity impact). Statutory auditors Gokhale & Sathe issued an unqualified limited review report.
Sharp profit growth driven by better operating leverage and lower costs, despite a sequential revenue dip, is positive for shareholders. The Labour Codes impact is small and one-time, so underlying earnings momentum remains strong.
