Modern Engineering and Projects Limited reported its Q3 FY26 results (quarter ended Dec 31, 2025) with revenue from operations of Rs 2,480.13 lakhs, up about 9% from Rs 2,267.74 lakhs in the same quarter last year. For the nine-month period, revenue from operations jumped to Rs 7,216.26 lakhs from Rs 5,341.59 lakhs, a growth of roughly 35% year-on-year. The company swung back to profit with a Q3 profit after tax of Rs 337.13 lakhs against a loss of Rs 360.63 lakhs in Q3 FY25, while nine-month PAT stood at Rs 812.15 lakhs versus a loss of Rs 207.83 lakhs earlier. Basic EPS for the quarter improved to Rs 2.18 from Rs (7.70). Results include contributions from three joint ventures in road construction and sewerage projects. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified review but included an emphasis of matter note regarding the resignation of the Company Secretary during the quarter.
Strong revenue growth of over 35% on a nine-month basis and a sharp swing from loss to profit are positive signs for shareholders, likely to support the stock sentiment. Investors should note the auditor's emphasis on the Company Secretary vacancy that needs to be filled within six months under Section 203 of the Companies Act.
