Modi Rubber Ltd released its audited Q4 and FY25 results on May 30, 2025, with statutory auditor P N A M & Co LLP issuing an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated numbers. Standalone FY25 net profit fell sharply to Rs. 235.96 Lacs from Rs. 2,856.13 Lacs in FY24, as dividend income dropped from Rs. 4,949.43 Lacs to Rs. 2,011.60 Lacs. However, consolidated FY25 net profit rose about 32% to Rs. 2,046.06 Lacs from Rs. 1,552.79 Lacs, helped by the Group's share of profit from joint ventures and associates. Standalone Q4FY25 slipped into a loss of Rs. 492.84 Lacs (versus a Rs. 351.28 Lacs profit in Q4FY24). Revenue from operations grew strongly at 45% YoY standalone (Rs. 399.61 Lacs vs Rs. 274.57 Lacs) and 30% YoY consolidated (Rs. 2,920.10 Lacs vs Rs. 2,243.67 Lacs). Both standalone and consolidated cash flow from operations remained deeply negative (Rs. -3,133 Lacs and Rs. -2,892 Lacs respectively), and the company is still implementing its legacy BIFR/NCLT sanctioned scheme (SS-08).
Consolidated profitability is improving on revenue growth and JV income, which is positive for shareholders, but standalone earnings are highly dependent on volatile dividend income and the negative operating cash flow in both sets of books remains a concern for sustainability.
