Mold-Tek Technologies reported weak Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) results, with consolidated revenue falling 15.3% year-on-year to ₹33.29 crore and profit after tax dropping 86.8% to ₹68.47 lakh from ₹5.18 crore a year ago. EBITDA also shrank 71.7% YoY to ₹2.44 crore, showing clear margin pressure. However, the company staged a sharp sequential recovery from Q4 FY25, swinging from a ₹1.56 crore loss to a small profit, with revenue up 11.4% QoQ. Management blamed prolonged stagnation in the U.S. construction sector and new tariff policies for the weak YoY performance but said order volumes are rebuilding and expressed optimism for the rest of FY26. The board also recommended a final dividend of ₹1.00 per share (face value ₹2) for FY25, subject to shareholder approval, and appointed a new Company Secretary and Secretarial Auditor.
The YoY numbers are clearly negative for shareholders — revenue, profit, and margins all contracted sharply. The QoQ turnaround and management's optimism about U.S. recovery provide some comfort, but until growth picks up, the stock may face pressure. The ₹1 dividend is small but signals management's confidence in cash flows, supported by ₹53.86 crore in cash reserves and a debt-free balance sheet.
