Mold-Tek Technologies reported Q4 FY26 profit of INR 2.28 crores versus a loss of INR 1.62 crores in Q4 FY25, with full year PAT at INR 10 crores (down 17% from INR 12.16 crores). Q4 revenue surged 81% YoY to INR 59 crores, driven by Beryl acquisition (contributing INR 23 crores for 5 months) and improved civil work execution. The company took a major step by downsizing its BIW auto MES team from 160 to 60 people in January, eliminating an INR 7 crore annual loss source. However, MTM losses of INR 4 crore due to rupee depreciation (INR 83 to INR 95) impacted Q4 results. EBITDA margin currently stands at 11%, with management targeting 15% for FY27 and INR 250 crore revenue. The company has zero debt and INR 25-30 crore in deposits.
The strategic downsizing of loss-making auto MES business and strong Q4 recovery signal improving profitability trajectory. However, forex MTM losses and integration costs from Beryl acquisition continue to weigh on near-term margins. The stock could see positive reaction if FY27 margin targets are met.
