Motisons Jewellers' board approved its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) unaudited financial results on 5 August 2025. Revenue from operations came in at Rs 8,871.20 lakh, a modest 1.9% rise over Rs 8,704.65 lakh in the same quarter last year, but a sharp 25% fall from Rs 11,875.08 lakh in Q4 FY25. Profit before tax slipped to Rs 848.87 lakh (vs Rs 1,078.44 lakh YoY), and net profit after tax declined roughly 21% YoY to about Rs 633 lakh. The auditor (Keyur Shah & Co.) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis-of-matter items. No exceptional items were recorded during the quarter.
The flat top-line growth combined with a sharp YoY drop in profit signals margin pressure and weak demand visibility in the jewellery segment for shareholders. Despite weak quarterly earnings, full-year FY25 revenue remained healthy at Rs 46,211 lakh with PAT around Rs 4,317 lakh, indicating the Q1 slowdown may be seasonal or one-off rather than structural.
