Motisons Jewellers Limited reported its audited financial results for Q4 and FY25. Full-year revenue from operations grew to ₹46,211.15 lakhs from ₹41,676.33 lakhs, an increase of about 11% YoY. Net profit for the year rose to ₹4,317.11 lakhs from ₹3,223.11 lakhs, a jump of nearly 34% YoY. Q4 results were more modest, with revenue at ₹11,875.08 lakhs (up ~1.8%) and net profit at ₹1,113.91 lakhs (up ~3.3%) compared to the same quarter last year. The statutory auditor, Keyur Shah & Co., issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results. The company also completed a stock split (₹10 face value to ₹1 face value) effective November 8, 2024, and had earlier issued 1 crore compulsorily convertible warrants at ₹170 each on a preferential basis.
Strong full-year earnings growth, driven by margin expansion, is a positive signal for shareholders. However, operating cash flow remained negative (₹2,261.23 lakhs) mainly due to a sharp rise in inventory, which may concern investors focused on cash generation despite the healthy profit growth.
