MPL Plastics Ltd reported a net loss of Rs. 6 lakhs for Q3 FY26 (Oct-Dec 2025) on total income of just Rs. 6 lakhs, against total expenses of Rs. 12 lakhs. For the nine months ended December 2025, the company posted a net loss of Rs. 33 lakhs with total income of only Rs. 7 lakhs. The company shut down its Silvassa and Pune plants in 2023-24 and had already initiated corporate insolvency proceedings and voluntary winding up under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. The statutory auditor, Jain Vinay and Associates, issued an adverse opinion flagging a material uncertainty about the company's ability to continue as a going concern. Reserves are deeply negative at Rs. (1,603) lakhs against equity capital of Rs. 1,250 lakhs.
This is a severe warning for shareholders — the auditor has formally questioned whether the company can continue operating, and voluntary winding up is already underway. The stock is essentially a non-operating, loss-making shell with insolvency proceedings initiated, making it highly risky for retail investors.
