Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities reported consolidated revenue of Rs 20,435.63 million for FY26, up 9% from Rs 18,738.78 million in FY25. However, profit after tax declined to Rs 1,408.81 million from Rs 1,432.33 million (down ~1.6%) due to higher raw material costs and finance expenses. The company declared a final dividend of Rs 0.70 per share (35% on Rs 2 face value). Walker Chandiok & Co. LLP issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion. The Board also appointed KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP as internal auditors for FY27. Capital work-in-progress reduced significantly from Rs 2,369.59 million to Rs 898.85 million indicating ongoing capex completion. One subsidiary (Bakebest Foods) reported a net loss of Rs 13.35 million.
Revenue grew 9% but profitability declined year-on-year due to input cost pressures. The company maintains strong cash generation (operating cash flow of Rs 2,177.95 million) and low leverage. Clean audit opinion with no going concern issues is reassuring for investors.
