Mukand Ltd's Board has recommended a dividend of Rs. 3 per equity share (30% on face value of Rs. 10) for FY 2025-26. This includes a special one-time dividend of Rs. 1 per share (10%) to celebrate the Bajaj Group's 100 years. The company also approved dividend on 5,626,320 8% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares. For the year ended March 31, 2026, standalone profit after tax was Rs. 634.69 crore (vs Rs. 86.95 crore previous year), while consolidated profit after tax was Rs. 604.15 crore (vs Rs. 75.89 crore). Consolidated EPS stands at Rs. 41.81. The dividend is subject to shareholder approval at the AGM and will be paid within 30 days of the AGM.
The strong 7x increase in profit and special centenary dividend signals healthy financials and shareholder-friendly approach. The dividend amount of Rs. 3 per share represents a reasonable payout with the special component being a one-time celebration payout rather than ongoing commitment.
