Mukesh Babu Financial Services reported audited results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2025, with the auditor (Chaitanya C. Dalal & Co.) issuing an unmodified (unqualified) opinion. Total income (standalone) fell sharply to Rs. 899.87 lakhs from Rs. 1,686.63 lakhs in FY24, a decline of roughly 47%, largely driven by a swing in other operating revenue. Standalone net profit after tax dropped to Rs. 223.44 lakhs from Rs. 591.07 lakhs (down about 62%), with EPS falling to Rs. 3.21 from Rs. 8.48. On a consolidated basis, net profit attributable to the company was a much weaker Rs. 134.51 lakhs versus Rs. 589.17 lakhs. Operating cash flow turned sharply negative at Rs. (759.25) lakhs standalone and Rs. (642.16) lakhs consolidated, compared with small positives/small negatives last year. The board has recommended a 12% dividend (Re. 1.20 per share) and appointed V. V. Chakradeo & Co. as the new secretarial auditor for five years.
Despite a clean audit opinion and continued dividend payout, shareholders should note the steep fall in profits, a significant drop in EPS, and negative operating cash flow — signs of earnings pressure that may weigh on the stock. The dividend at Re. 1.20 per share provides some income cushion but is much smaller than implied by prior-year earnings.
