On the reaction day the stock moved 0.7 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.7 pts less than its Media & Entertainment peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Madras High Court Division Bench on December 10, 2025 allowed Music Broadcast's appeals and set aside earlier contempt orders from July 2024 and August 2025. The court ruled that contempt jurisdiction was not maintainable since the underlying order is before the Supreme Court and royalty liability is unquantified. The directions requiring deposit of 50 percent of alleged royalty dues and furnishing of historical music play logs have been set aside. No financial impact on the company arises from the impugned orders.
Positive for the company. No obligation to deposit 50 percent royalty dues or share music play logs. Removes financial and disclosure pressure.
