The Board of Directors of Mysore Petro Chemicals Ltd, at its meeting held on 21st May 2025, recommended a dividend of Rs. 2 per equity share (20%) on shares of Rs. 10 face value for the financial year ended 31st March 2025. The dividend is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Additionally, the Board appointed Shri Umang Dhanuka as an Additional Director in the Non-Executive Non-Independent category, effective 25th May 2025; he is the brother of an existing Non-Executive Non-Independent Director. The Board also appointed Martinho Ferrao & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for a five-year term, from the 55th AGM until the 59th AGM in 2030, subject to member approval.
Shareholders stand to receive Rs. 2 per share as dividend pending AGM approval, providing a modest return. The board-level changes are routine governance updates and are unlikely to materially affect stock price in the short term.
