CRISIL upgraded NACL Industries long-term rating to AA/Stable from BB+, and short-term to A1+ from A4+, on bank facilities of about 915 crore. Subsidiary NACL Spec-Chem also upgraded to AA-/Stable and A1+. Upgrade follows Coromandel International acquiring 53.08% stake in NACL in August 2025, improving financial flexibility. NACL posted Rs 905 crore revenue and Rs 15.59 crore profit in H1 FY26 versus a loss earlier. CIL also providing a 160 crore credit line.
Strong rating upgrade signals improved creditworthiness backed by Coromandel parentage, likely to lower borrowing costs and boost investor confidence in the stock.
